Why Every Delhite Wants To Go To Goa?

Since time immemorial Goa plans have been made. Ask a group of friends if they are planning a trip to Goa, they’ll say yes.

Ask a family, they’ll say yes.

Ask a newly married couple, the answer will be no different.

Most plans materialize, some don’t.

What is it really about one of the smallest states in India that everyone has it going in their mind?

Let’s have a look at the possible reasons:

Once is not enough

I remember when I was younger, must be in 4th or 5th standard, my parents took me on a 4 day trip to Goa. I hadn’t seen the sea before. It was a feeling so overwhelming, I till date can’t explain in words. The greenery, the dip in the pool, the delicious seafood, the residential projects in Goa we lived at. Everything was great but still incomplete. Next time after 12 years or so, I visited with my friends. The nightclubs and markets are nothing like what we have in Delhi.

Food

No doubt Delhi is the food capita; of India. No other place serves better food than Delhi. But when it’s seafood, you might want to reconsider. Goan cuisine doesn’t get better than what is served in Goa. The finest, the most authentic sea food. Nothing beats that. Epicureans and food connoisseurs especially take culinary trips to Goa.

Goa as a feeling

Goa is not a place, it’s a feeling. It’s a state of mind. You suddenly feel a certain sense of liberation when you think of Goa. You feel you are in another world once here. This is also represented in popular culture. In the movie Udta Punjab, Alia Bhatt has only one dream of being free. Her being free is denoted by going to Goa.

Dil Chahta hai

Bollywood has created a certain image in our mind, as far as Goa is concerned. It’s the ultimate pal destination to go to. It’s the place where you hire vacation homes in Goa, lies our heart.

Beaches to visit in Goa

We have all made plans to go to Goa after our graduation or on an office vacation and after crossing the initial risk of a failed plan, it is necessary to chalk out what to do and which beaches to visit once you are there. It is not an easy task at all because of the overwhelming number of beaches and shacks.

People would also prefer living near beaches and they are spoilt for choice with hotels and vacation homes in Goa peppered around the whole coast. So which beaches should be on your itinerary for that elusive Goa vacation?

Mandrem Beach

Situated in North Goa, Mandrem beach is the beach for any wildlife enthusiast. The beach has shallow creeks leading up to the sea and is an ideal spot to go dolphin spotting. The tide is relatively calmer compared to the other beaches and watching the white-bellied fish eagles catch their prey or the shy Olive Ridley turtles waddling towards the water is a fascinating experience.

Morjim Beach

The beach is colloquially known as mini-Russia, because of the number of Russian immigrants who inhabit the areas around the beach. The beach is known for its secluded nature and the serenity of the area has been preserved by banning any kind of loud music or midnight parties. It is a great place for bird watching and activities like kite surfing and alternate therapies are promoted.

Chapora Beach

The beach houses one of the most famous Goan landmarks in recent history: the Chapora fort, also known as the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ fort. The iconic scene where the trio of Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna are sitting and contemplating their lives has made it a tourist haunt for many. The fort also gives a great bird-eye view of Chapora beach and is a brilliant place to visit with friends.

Anjuna Beach

Arguably the most popular beach, Anjuna is the favorite beach for all the foreigners who visit Goa. It features famous restaurants like Curlies and the whole combination of good food, chilled beer and ambient music is the perfect memory to take back from a Goa vacation. The beach has also benefited from commercial development, with real estate developers in Goa cashing in on the popularity of beaches and constructing beautiful beach front societies near the beach.

Baga Beach

Baga is to the Indian tourists what Anjuna is to the foreign ones. Late night parties and karaoke coupled with brilliant shacks and water sports makes the beach one of the most happening places in Goa. It also provides good and comfortable accommodation facilities and is one of the closest beaches near the Goan capital of Panaji.

Things to Keep in Mind before Renting Out Your Place

Renting out your property can be overwhelming. On one hand, where you are concerned about lending your place to someone reliable, you also wish to let out the place worth its value, on the other. Renting out space means counting on the investment done. And to make sure that happens smoothly, pointers given below will come to help.

     1. Transparency is the key. To keep any probable disputes away, always keep transparency on every conversation, documentation or legal procedure. A prospective tenant expects honesty and integrity. As a landlord, invite your tenants for a look and discuss the requirements from both the ends.

     2. Another important factor to take note of before letting your place is correct documentation. The facts about lock-in period and the increase in rent after the expiry of the lease agreement should be clearly mentioned. To have no issue regarding the security deposit and maintenance, have it mentioned loud and clear on papers before reaching on to any decision.

     3. Background Check is important, as you are placing your important investment to someone else's hands. Have the identification done thoroughly and take out few references from tenants to enquire a little more about them. It's even more important when your property is located at a tourist spot. For Amoravida Goa property rentals, it is important to check visa, passport or criminal record of anyone that is not from the country.

     4. Credit History check is another important aspect that needs to be done.  In order to assure the credit capability of the person, you are handing over your house to, especially with respect to a higher rental rate on a monthly basis.

These pointers can come to a great use to you while letting your house on rent. For people having their property in places like Goa can contact to Amoravida Beautiful bungalows in goa for more detailed knowledge on the same.

Know about Goa property buying

How lovely would it is to have one own place that is distant from the regular hustles of the metropolitan city, a place that offers solace and peace at the same time. However, when people don’t get it, they resort to vacations in pleasant places like Goa! Of big beautiful beaches, sunsets, blue skies and seas; Goa is nothing short of spectacular.

Vacationing could get better if you owned a proper luxury tree house or a villa there, no? Both South Goa and North Goa are scenic places to invest in and spend time in. Moreover, Goa has burgeoned really well in the past years that have attracted many tourists.

If you are keen to invest property in an idyllic place in Goa, then take a look at the points that should be kept in mind-

The property price: Whilst you scour the houses you want, you must know the property price in Goa. Don’t be fooled by the mid agents who show you everything pricey. Beware of the con men too. Always consult an expert while browsing the property areas- be it a beach house, a luxury condo etc. Pricing would vary on the basis of location and area. So be calculative and get the one which fits your budget well.

The location of the property: You may want to ensure that the location of your precious property is good. Make sure it is well equipped with basic amenities and have grocery markets, easy transport facility, schools and medical stores nearby. These points should act as a point whether to buy the property or no. Save yourself extra efforts and make an informed decision.

It is highly advised to buy property from developers that are well-renowned in the city- like Amoravida Goa.
